Is this supposed to be their idea of a joke? Or do they think this can be an USP for them?

well.. GPUs do run hotter here in India, mostly due to the fact that the ambient temps here are much higher than those in EUrope or America.. perhaps they wanted to stress that point and perhaps they cudnt put it inany better words..
And given the fact that broken ‘engles’ is the norm (most of the time) I dont find that ‘discalimer’ that funny ![]()
Yeah, I know exactly what they want to say. But it is the way they said it that I found funny. ![]()
hehe.. u’ll find a lot worse (funnier) stuff usually on billboards n banners.. ![]()
Well, its a misconception that India is hotter.US includes places like Arizona and New Mexico which literally boil in summer heat. However, unlike India, they do use their ACs 24x7(which u can’t in India coz firstly it will be damn expensive and secondly even if u were rich enough, most parts of India never recieve 24x7 electricity).
I live in Ghaziabad and had to plunk thousands just to get a decent supply going
ervo stabilizer+backup genset+extra ups batteries…
Very true… Even in “developing” countries like Thailand, they have 24x7 power supply and they use ACs everywhere. Also, petrol costs onlt 22Rs there. I know this has no relation with the above topic but just an example of how much good American money can do to your economy.
I knew someone wud bring it up.. hence i had chosen my words carefully ![]()
Well here in Mumbai electricity is not a prob whatsoever, had just had around 1 hr outage in a year. But elsewhere in Mah, its a diff story altogether, the Pune guys would know well as in this sweletring Summer heat they are having power cuts in the afternoons !!!
Thats bcoz Mumbai’s power grid has been in hands of a good private company for a long time.
