How come they share the burden of de-dollarization without dollarizing first?
Where did you read they share this burden?
Elon Musk has made yet another scorching remark against philantropist George Soros, saying that his âhatred of humanity includes Israelâ.
The billionaire added a screenshot of a news report on X about the Israeli ambassador to UN criticising Soros for funding pro-Hamas NGOs. Along with the post, he wrote: âGeorge Sorosâs hatred of humanity includes Israel btwâ.

Irony is that Soros is Jewish :bored:
But I thought Elon was recently more concerned about Jeff Bezos ex-wife making large donations to similar outfits as Soros.
Not everything is out there to be read! Most important things have to be read between the lines! Arg will be âBali Ka Bakraâ!
Thatâs the part I donât get. What dedollar burden are you talking about? Can you explain that.
Because afaik other than Russia and China to some extent nobody else has joined the de$ bandwagon. Thereâs talk that more will join but the best that can be done is barter between countries which is cumbersome.
When de-dollarization increases pace, value of dollar will reduce obviously. US is dumping dollars to Argentina which will eventually suffer the consequences of Dollar devaluation.
Russia and China are nor pioneers of De-dollarization efforts from outside US. India and Japan are. (Shinzo Abe coined term Indo-Pacific, and was proponent of De-dollarization, QUAD). BRICS+MENA+Japan are all on to it now. Even large part of US establishment also sees Dollar devaluation as inevitable as increasing debt is putting unsustainable strain on their budget.
International trade will happen increasingly in local currencies in future.
You are making one big ass assumption here. I donât see how the de$ process will increase pace among more countries. Itâs not clear to me why they would want to do that unless there is a risk of their country being sanctioned. Which applies only to a few countries.
Understood
I was not aware Abe was a proponent of de$. Surprising that an American ally would be in support. Quad, yes.
As for pioneers of de$ it would have to be Europe. Before the Euro and after. The most serious contender to $ hegemony has to be the euro. Twenty years ago there were high expectations that euro would compete with the $ on an even footing as the euro zone had a larger comboned GDP than the US.
In reality the euro took away just 20% of world trade from the $ and that was it. The $ still manages 60% of the worlds transactions
This one is hard to call. They keep kicking the can down the road.
Only with complimentary economies. Russia & China is one example.

Trump really going after Canada? What he says about Canada makes sense.
Oh, so thatâs the reason he refers to Canada as a state
The huge trade deficit between the US & Canada.
Ok, if they were a state, to have such a deficit but not if they were a different country.
Donât know where he got the $200bn deficit figure unless he added annual trade deficits with Canada for the entire Biden term. Then you get a $200bn+ figure. In fact just the last three years will do

Why should a country be so much dependent on another? For all these years Trudeau should have atleast developed Canadaâs economy instead of just depending on USA for everything. In case if Trump does a economic blockade on Canada as he proclaims will Canada then align with Russia/China?
Man arrested with machete and knives at US Capitol
USA is getting the heat because trying to encircle Russia they have a big mess on their hands . Look at the world map , you realise that Greenland is the closest to Russia and next comes Canada . USA wants Russia to be surrounded by Nato and I am guessing all this rheoteric is about not letting Russia getting near the US shores . If Canada , Mexico or Greenland were to appeal to Russia then it would be fireworks .
If India was to invade the UK , we Indians can finish them off in a week or 2 . That is how weak EU is before Russia and USA is trying to avoid Canada being another EU .
If the US gets its way, India should ask for Diego Garcia, Maldavis and a few more. Also the chicken neck problem going to NE states should be taken care off.
India might be waiting for a misadventure from Bangladesh, which will help resolve that issue.
Arakan army is already highly active, have to see where it goes.
Russia has 14 immediate neighbours (
). All of them are at a distance of zero nanometres. So how can one of them (Greenland) be âclosestâ and another (Canada) come next? 14 are equidistant at a distance of zero.
Even if there is a âno manâs landâ like arrangement between some neighbours, they are still adjacent. The buffer zone is just a security/political arrangement.
Next 4 years will be fun to watch.
A self-proclaimed tough guy and a savior of the MAGA, but actually a clown with an IQ lower than an orange, accelerating the end of the hegemony of an empire just like he did in his last term.
As of now, by the looks of it, 'murrican imperialism will outlive all other smarty pants.
Other than China which may face troubles due to repressed regime structure, no other country can show a candle to USA.
