What states do to compel or coerce others into either doing something or not doing something.
Might makes right
Realism
Until you accept that you will not understand how states behave with each other.
Another mistaken term I see geing used is ‘trust’. How India has lost trust in the US
Trust is not a thing in international relations. Interests ARE. Have those changed suddenly for the US & India? No. China still remains a threat for both. So on that score things are as is.
Both leaders are beting against each other. Who will win. I prefer it be Trump. Then we get to pay less for American stuff. A win for consumers worldwise as duties are reduced.
WHICH ON A BOARD SUCH AS THIS WILL BE OF INTEREST
I notice not a single person here replied to my earlier point about the $300+ price difference with Dubai for iPhones or Galaxy Ultras when BOTH phones are made here.
Yeah, in 2025, we do high end iPhones. Samsung high end we’ve done for over a decade now.
Power politics can also be done with respect, aka, international diplomacy, but drump is a failure incapable of that.
Good thing is, there was and is still a group in India those enjoy getting butt-kicked by USA no matter what, kind those get pleasure from self harming. At least few of them recognized the statement “It is dangerous to be USA’s enemy, but it’s fatal to be USA’s friend“.
If there was any meek chance for USA to be in long-term good relation with India, dtrump squandered it. Should be a revelation for those with minimum commonsense.
Will prefer a zerosum game here, or a win win scenario.
Those who can afford latest iphone or samsung ultra pro max ghz plus can also afford a $300 increase in total price. Agree it can be reduced in mid-end phones.
Indian tax system is a quagmire irrespective of drump and tariffs.
Assembling is done here, components, especially critical ones comes from outside India ? There is costs involved there too.
He was young, had a promising career, was a good debater, whatever his ideals were. It’s quite tragic and unfortunate that he got assassinated. A dark chapter in USA political landscape indeed.
This also shows the true face of his opponents, which are miserable failures.
Reddit is a radical left-wing cesspool, the way they celebrate and young man’s death is the quite the image or logo that website have. Charlie Kirk have said lot of things, but he was open to debate in quite decent way with anyone. The quotes above, if it’s posted on reddit will need to be verified again, but might about creating hyperbole for attention, he seemed to be a quite reasonable guy in almost all his debates.
I think his assassination will have an effect on that society one way or other. Killing a person who is almost always available for a reasonable debate does not vibe well with civil society.
You should be straightly able to say you are against murder.
Charlie Kirk is an activist and a human, no way deserved to be murdered.
If people had issues with his ideas, they should debate with him, murder is not the response in a civil society.
If there are people who justify murder, then there is no democracy and polity in the system and that is seriously wrong.
I agree. He didn’t deserve to be killed for his views, regardless of how flawed they were at times.
How is blaming all of his political opponents for the actions of one person fair? Political violence is carried out by extremist individuals, and their actions do not represent millions of people. By that same logic, one could claim that Vance Boelter’s murder of Melissa Hortman last year reflects on everyone with a similar ideology, which is obviously not true. Please think critically before blaming entire groups for one person’s actions.
Charlie was pro-life. He cared about life. May be he was right.
Though there are serious political and ideological differences, humanity should be given first preference.
You should have listened to his debates than a single image with quotes you found on reddit.
I didn’t categorically blame all his opponents, quite obviously the extremist ones. If one go through general sense of my comments, that part is clear and evident.
That should not be a reason or justification at all for his murder, rather debate with him more and prove him wrong. He was young, just 31 years old, there was enough time to correct him. And everyone wants young leaders…!
If people end up shooting each other for having opposing ideologies, world will end up as hell.
I think he should get the respect he deserve in his country. Good to see that is happening, which shows his influence in their society. He started activism from when he was 18years old.
About things happening in Yemen, people are fatigued by everyday news from that region. Even Israel attacked Qatar in between.
Problem with such single line quotes is that, those may probably be misrepresenting the real spirit of the entire debate.
The moment his assassination news came out, reddit front page was posts celebrating it, than considering his assassination as a human tragedy, later they started calling him Hitler, etc.
Reddit generally is a callous far-left misandrist website, right wing side is tightly controlled there.
