fermi paradox yes, but until you have proof you cannot just believe. Maybe every smart lifeform follows the same pattern eventually to its doom. Maybe aliens see us/this planet as too stupid and violent and dont interact, maybe AI takes over everywhere and they are waiting for AI to be created here, who knows. Just joking dont take any of this too seriously. There is even a remote possibility that we are all in a simulated universe. Many smart people do not discount that possibility. Universe might be organized as a neural network, crazy to think about. There is a weird light experiment where light passing through behaves differently if observed - double-slit experiment. Lots of weird stuff, just dont consider simulation thing to be a fact, just a possibility.
