So Afghanistan aid is helping people to people appreciation for Indians ( Tourism ) but it is mostly geopolitics that also requires Afghans ( Taliban) to be friend with India.
India also provides major aid to Bangladesh ( fu*kers pay half the price for buying disel from India Rs 51 where as Indians pay about Rs90) electricity is cheaper for them.
Beside many other things .. and look at them. Celebrating India’s loss in world cup final . Inviting China and Pakistan and threatening India with cutting off chicken-neck.
On top SriLanka gets Aid too from India.
Also gave aid to Maldives also.
And what these freeloaders do?
So all this giving aid really does not shape geopolitics the way you thinking.

@solo_wing all Indian neighbors are pinning against India exploiting our situations with China. Their leaders nor their people have any effing clue about longterm geopolitics. India supports smooth brained people and are suffering for that.
We know what went wrong in SL/BAN more number of times. Helped SL during the war, which resulted in the confusion among Tamils. Helped to give birth to Bangladesh. Coddled it with more affection. Now it is giving us Tantrums.
The thing is our neighbors want more. Nothing wrong in it. They pledge what little they have and attract/ try to attract more funds/goods, so they can manage their population/position. The term loyalty means nothing in this world. It has to CHANGE with TIMES.

Alternative is give aid but getting them to agree to more friendly policies.
Start pulling the strings.

Btw this is a non partisan issue as BJP continued and expanded whatever Congress started in Afghanistan. There was a project in every province in Afghanistan.
