This just got depressing and I’ll probably have to create a wtb post now.
My 5900X (2021 – 2025)
I did such a rookie mistake rushing to finish the build today and got the CPU pins bent. I forgot to unlock the CPU latch so inserted it in locked position and probably over-tightened the heatsink on top. Too fucking late by the time I realized what I had done.
Some pins seem easy to wiggle back but there’s one or two nasty ones in there as well. IDK if the socket is damaged as well. Guess I need to source a spare CPU now 
I guess this is my first PC build fuckup and all cause I got a bit impatient.
