Pardon me. I don’t remember much on the exact prices.
But for me Win 10 Pro retail with that USB, Tally Gold with yearly TSS, Couple of Win 8 Pro retail, then MSO 2019 Pro, then MSO 2021 Pro. Had also purchased a MS365 Family edition and used it with Office mail. Then move over to ZOHO. Again with MS365 Family Edition with that AI nonsense. All in all mandatory business expenses. Would prefer LibreOffice for MSO, but older collegues and newbies struggle with it despite teaching them. Moreover this is with basic Datasheets not with Access and its likes.
Personal use with one MS365 Family edition which was not at all used by my folks, later left in a limbo.
Remember my cousin shelling a bomb for his Adobe CS yearly licence now in limbo after about 3 months. His entire project came to a halt because of COVID.
My mobile app purchase is non existent. Hate the way MS365 works on android. Removed it after struggling with it. Blame on myself.
Wanted to buy Softperfect networx in a group buy but didn’t find enough interested people.
My friend was given wrong plan instead of the night 2-8am unlimited & ended up with ~70k bill. This being India where rules matter if you know the right ppl he went to main BSNL office in his district with right people & got the bill reduced to ~2k as it was not his fault they they gave him wrong plan instead of the one he applied for. This was pre-2010.
Same above friend then got a bill of almost 1.4 lakh, again due to a billing error, in 2011-12 & again visited the main bsnl office of his district (different from the one above as he moved) & again got the bill corrected to ~1k.
The people in both bsnl offices remembered him for some time as apparently his bill amt was the biggest they had ever seen & then seen it getting revised to such small amt too.
I bought PIA twice. Last being few years ago. I stopped renewing for third time as the service was getting pretty bad (it was the time they changed app too)
