Windows 7 photo viewer issue

Hi TE
I am not able to open all .jpg extension files in windows 7 photo viewer:( the message i am getting is
**is there any setting is to be done or from where to update windows photo viewer **

NEED HELP

Mine also works fine but not in all files:( and how to only update windows photo viewer:huh:

He meant check if there is an update related to photo viewer or Win 7 OS. Also are you sure that those images are not corrupted? Can they be seen elsewhere?

no update is available for photo viewer. and i am sure images are not corrupted because i tried these images in windows xp they open normally with no issue

try picasa/irfanview in windows 7 and check…i think unless u screw up the photo viewer the windows update might not catch it.!

registry files must be corrupted..do a reg scan and see if it helps.Could also be a virus/trojan.

re-installing windows solve the problem

Have you installed any “beta” version or a stable release?

The beta version might have bugs :).

I recommend you to try any other photo - viewer before re - installing windows.

And if nothing works, then this option should be considered.

i am using windows 7 64bit 7600 version, i re installed it and problem was solved,think there must be some registry problem:)
