One does not simply buy laptops for heavy workstation work.

I am already accessing a system remotely but the interaction is so slow..
I feel I can get a system to work for now and send the rendering workload to the remote system
Get a Desktop, you’ll never regret. Having used MBP with 8 core CPU, Alienware 17,Dell Precision Workstation with Xeon CPU just one conclusion.
All laptops throttle under load and are under volted. I’ll always stick with a Desktop.
