Hello everyone, i hope you have a very good day today!
Today yet again im looking to buy a low powered machine to run some networking stuff. Unfortunately nobody is selling raspberry pi or any other pi devices here.
Also buying new r2s would cost me 4k which will be sidegrade to my current router in terms of compute power.
But many of you sell thin client pcs, I’m particularly interested in greater power saving low powered thin clients provide. 2watts idle and 5 watts peak. I’m looking for dell wyse 3040 or any alternative x86 device with similar power figure.
Denying refund on a product which haven’t delivered yet, i told i changed my mind and dont want the product anymore so cancel/refund, and they told me the reason for refund is not good enough, we cant do the refund.
Then i had to mail the payment gateway for that case and after they handle the case, i got the refund. Amateur move..
Ah, that’s how most online retailers are though. They won’t refund for buyer’s remorse even if it’s not delivered yet, but it depends on what they have on their policy/terms page.
There’s a few discussions about this somewhere here about similar experiences with other retailers.
As far as I know, it’s only Amazon that’ll let you cancel an order before receiving it but they will refund only after the order has reached back to them, usually a day to a week.
It hadnt shipped yet, they had it with them. I think such practices should be punishable by law. They took 5% as testing fee before giving the refund money, which is fine by me.
