Looking for a replacement joystick to fix major drift issue on my quest 2 left side controller. Found one on amazon for around 1499/- for a pair. I personally don’t think the cost is worth it. With the right source it should be a lot cheaper. Let me know if anyone has it for sale or know where to get them at the right price.
Already tried contact cleaner method and even disassembling the unit and tried to bend the contact pins to make better surface contact and it’s still not enough to solve the issue.
Purchased from Amazon at 1099/- for a pair, price dropped recently.
Replaced one and holding onto the other for now just in case if any of those fail in the future.
no soldering involved but involves removing and reconnecting a ribbon connector in tight spot , some screws are also slightly less assessable i personally had to just hold the bit in place and connect only the tip for it to screw/unscrew. If you don’t hold it properly you might risk striping the screw. Removing/reseating one side of the controller body needs a special type of rotation and push that’s hard to explain in words.
