I have a RTX 2060 with a TDP of 160 W.
Need a modern card with lower TDP that will outperform the 2060.
8 GB is fine, 12 or 16 GB will be great.

You could go for either a 3060 12gb or a 3060ti 8gb.
After using a 3060ti for over a couple of years, I’ve had the power limited with afterburner to about 100w +/-5w with some loss in performance but still having higher performance compared to a 2060. Same could be done with the 3070 which I used after the 3060ti.
If you’re opting for lower tdp from the get go, then the 40 series would be better. Though the limiting of power would also yield the same or better performance compared to 30 series.
I have my 4060 to let go off BUT not before I find a 4070tis/4080s/5080 at non-inflated markup cause my home inverter loves my 4060

Im open to new gen GPUs (40 or 50 series, just that TDP should be less than 2060 because my PSU is old and I dont want to push it) . Not looking for AMD as of now

Alrighty, btw 4070 is also decently power efficient for what it performs… unfortunately best efficiency card would be rx9070 undervolted but you mention no AMD…
