1.5k budget....which speakers to go for

my friend wants to buy set of speakers, budget is 1500

we saw a couple of them locally, best within the budget were

1) intex 4.1, some 2600 watts for 1500 rs

2) creative 2.1, for 1400 rupees

he's more interested in the bass, not the surround sound

is the intex 4.1 better choice than creative 2.1? will it have as much base as creative will have/?

any other options are welcome, but i live in a small city, keep in mind, so dont have a lot of options
 
Go for the Altec Lansing VS 2621. Way better than the ones mentioned. Also please stay away from brands like intex if your looking for quality speakers!
 
Go for iBall 4.1 Tarang, it's made by wood and better sound quality as compared to the other two mentioned above. though it gonna cost around 2k but you can get good offers.
