Monitors 15 inch LCD suggestions

I'm looking to buy a 15 inch LCD for making a projector. Can anyone suggest me a good brand? DVI inputs are a must as my PC has only DVI D out [Inspiron:( ]

Err. Technically, DVI-D to D-SUB shouldn't work. How will this converter work. I actually remember someone posting a thread about this.
