Look at Samsung 740N and for a little more you can get a Viewsonic 19" widescreen (VA1219)

get the 19incher from viewsonic 1930wm,if you are from mumbai will get it for 10-10.5k

19 Wide screen just nice man .. u get 17" .. soon you will have a itchy pocket ! I suggest you go have a look both monitor .. then u can take the leap.

I am not familiar with Indian price.. if u can get .. try looking for Asus .. they are pricey but worth.
