Well, I'll be buying my rig in july, and probably change my config a million times before then. :S Now, i've decided to stick with 6600gt, and hence go for 17" instead of 19".
Earlier, i was thinking of going for Altec 251, but now have decided on fx5021. (music is very important.) S/C will be either revo 7.1 or Prodigy 7.1 So, will i be able to connect an altec 251 system, to get a 7.1? I mean, will it work properly? Or will level matching be hell?
Or is there any way to assign 5021 for 2-ch music, and 251 for movies and games? (without changing the jacks physically).

I hope u mean the MX5021 not the fx. The fx with whatever the marketing term(inconcert technology?) sucks bad compared to the THX certified MX5021. Yup a 5.1 and 2.1 will work fine. You might have to tweak it a bit though.

Yes, its MX5021. You have the 251? How are they for movies and games?
Well I'm satisfied with it with everything other than music. I'm planning to get a new system soon... the HMX 7051 the moment its released :).
