Go with AMD for a budget rig as you get a better platform with a better IGP.

If you still insist on Intel then go for the
Intel E5400 - 3.1k~
(PPl have posted the price to be 2.6k~ in places like Cost to Cost and Computer Empire at NP. But the price drop has not reflected in other places like in theitwares and deltapage websites)

One of my friend wants to buy new rig. I am going with DarkAngel's AMD config. So i have edited the price above that i am getting here in ahmedabad.

I am getting DELL E1910In for 7750 Rs. which i feel high. Any other monitor in 6K range ?
Dealer has only Biostar 780GE for 3550. Rest price seems to me is good.

^^ you got the quote for the dell @ silverline bodakdev char rasta? try getting the quote from patel media or any other shop opposite dell's showroom in navrangpura--cg road.

@cisco_tech
DELL E1910In for Rs.7750 is too high. It sells for 6k~ at most places. You can get a Benq 22" for that price in metros. Search for some other shops where you get the dell 19" cheap.

Even shipping it from TE dealers would cost only ~6.5k shipping included.

there u go-

e7500@2.93ghz-4.5k| AMD x2 240

GA-G41M-ES2L-2.5K|Biostar A785GE-3.3k(better option if ur not buying a graphic card

no idea about RAM:ashamed:-<5k

seagate barcuda 500 7200.12-2.2k

Dell E1910IN-5.8k

Zebronics Bijili :400w SMPS:-1.7k

if going over budget u may decrease ur cpu to e5400~2.6k

and RAM to 2gb:)

If you still insist on Intel then go for the

Intel E5400 - 3.1k~
AFAIK the price of e5400 is 2.6k now

You are recommending a AMD mobo for a intel procccy

Look at the date of my post. Its before a week (march 17).
May be at your place E5400 sells dead cheap. The lowest price i was able to find online was SMC site, NP. Still they have quoted Rs.2850 for E5400 and Rs.5350 for E7500.

Did the proccy box have proper indian distri sticker? The prices seems very low considering market ones and can be parrellel imported ones. Or may be the shops in NP do sell with min. margins. But E7500 prices are too low. It still sells for ~$120 in newegg and a quote of Rs.4500 for it seems too low to believe.

Guys. Thanx for helping me out.
@Sunny and others i went to shell infotech nr. bodakdev. He quoted me 6250 for Dell E1910IN. i was finalizing almost all the hardware. but my friend insisted on eSys PC Ultra quad-core Desktop. Bcoz of 3 years on-site warranty. :S
So got esys for 26000 /- with following config.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33Ghz
Intel G31 Chipset Motherboard
4GB 800 MHz RAM
500GB WD Blue
DVD Writer
Card Reader
eSys Keyboard/eSys Optical Scroll Mouse
eSys Premium mATX cabinet with PSU
eSys 20'' Wide TFT LCD Display
3 Years on-site warranty.

I could have built the better RIG. if he just want to spend 26K on some esys. All the time he was keep arguing me on warranty. 3 Years ka warranty kaun dega ? and moreover i dont want to run through different RMA center for different components. :S but in the end he is happy. :)

you could get a 20 inch fujitsu lcd for 5850 check prime abgb's website.

where is shell infotech?
