Defect - Blurred at HD resolution @ 60 Hz or higher, works at 1600x900 @ 50 Hz, bought new monitor
For sale is a BenQ 3D Gaming Monitor with 144 Hz Refresh rate. Model Zowie XL2720Z.
Has 1ms response time, its a HD TN Panel and has DVI, HDMI and Display Port option alongwith a USB hub, two USB ports and even a headphone jack. Has superb brightness and also has Height, Tilt and Pivot adjustments. The designer stand with shades of red is pure class.
Have used it for 6 years, bought @ 32000 in 2015 but now its started showing some issue.
Product thread and review : https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/benq-xl2720z
There is a thin horizontal white line in half the screen towards the upper end and it becomes blurred at HD resolution with 60 Hz or higher refresh rate.
Its stable @ 1600 x 900 resolution with 50 Hz although the white line still remains. One pic shows stable at 1600x900 @ 50 Hz and the other shows blurred image at HD resolution with 144 Hz. Have tried to show the thin white line, if you zoom you should be able to catch it.
I dont have the patience or time to get it repaired so bought a new 32" LG Ultragear gaming monitor
Anyone who has the time and patience to get it repaired, is welcome to buy at throwaway price, its a quality gaming monitor, comes with its own wired remote for settings control which is working perfectly. Due to bulky nature of the shipping, I would prefer local pickup unless someone ready to risk shipping at their own cost. Lowballers please excuse.
