Storage Solutions 2TB External USB 3.0 HDD Wanted

Please suggest any 2TB external usb hdd around 5k if possible .

Need good read and write speeds ..

Brands - any brand with good service in Bangalore :)

Should i go for 3TB if its more economic ?? (then budget can be increased !)

Decided to go portable and bought WD My Passport 1TB @4545 flipkart .. (needed it fast as i'm afraid my laptop hdd is gonna die , it already has 9000 hours of run , and the contents are very important , my life will be ruined if the data goes away !!)

Will get a desktop one too next month probably from amazon global i guess ..

I purchased Buffalo 2TB USB 3.0 from Croma for around 8k..Its with 3 years warranty.

WD drive is available for 8.5 but since My passport HDD went kaput, I have lost trust on it and went with Buffalo!
