I am looking for a high speed portable hard drive with at least 2TB storage. I'm looking for value for money and durability. I don't mind buying a used drive but I am afraid of it failing. So I don't mind going for new for extra cash, but also open to used offers if durability is close to new. I'm also not sure how to check if a used drive is worthy buy. So if you have any tips, do let me know.
2TB is sufficient if it's meant to be durable and robust but 4TB would be nice provided it is just as portable and high-speed.
My budget is comfortably around 5-6k. I can stretch up to 8k if there's good value. Do you have any recommendations?
