We have 6 feet viewing distance (non wall mount) & Hathway set top box. Which is the best option for 32 Inch LCD. I am thinking of Sony KLV-32V550A. It is costing about 44K.
Is full HD needed?
Is there a better alternative.
How is the new Onida tv with full hd @ Rs 36K

Ya, i have the same 32" 550, but W series. The upscaling is far better than any other brand. FUll HD contents on it rocks.

Heard Samsung TVs are equally good in picture quality and more features. But i like the look of Bravia more than Sammy look.

For 6 feet actually full HD is waste, especially if you are not goin to hoot it to a console or PC for full HD watching/gaming. But shud be future proof, as many DTH services are planning on full HD receivers [and even started]. Upgrading TV later isnt a good idea.

I think 24inch or 27in should be good for 6ft viewing distance. 32inch will be waste of money and hurt your eyes.

I have the Dell 2409W Monitor and it looks OK for 6ft distance.
