you are offering new ones price, !if its less i will buy

PM me what is your quote
AFAIK, new WD 320 sells for 2750+ shipping (lowest). Seagate sells for bit less, but with 3 years warranty and a long round trip to Accel Frontline for RMA

Spectre sir,

I have been hunting for a portable hdd recently.

But won't a new 320GB external 2.5" + case or a branded WD/SG 320GB cost as much as you are selling yours for or maybe even a little lower? :)

Bikey, how r u :)
yaa, sealed ones sell almost same prices , but this combo has its pros as well

  • Data security, even if casing/interface goes bad , one can connect directly and get back the data
  • 5 years onsite warranty (wd now has 3 yrs warrany, seagte has 5, but 2 trips to accel frontline)
  • Blue series drives
  • All Aluminum housing - good temps
  • Works as a backup OS drive, incase the main desktop drive fails (and need 2 weeks for RMA) useful for people with 1 internal drive

Transcend casing is costlier since its excellent quality and 2 years warranty,
China ones which costs 200-300 fails regularly
it costed me 700, hence a little higher market pricing :)

^ But iirc, new WD Scorpio 320GB 2.5" is 2.3K-2.4K + 600-700/- for new Transcend casing = 3100 approx, for the same stuff if bought new. :)

I got it for 2750 and 700, so selling at a lower price than i bought
new WD 320 2.5 price is around 2.7K the lowest i could find. source - MH and ebay
seagate is a bit cheaper

anyways, product is sold
above points were just to clarify you on my pricing. cheers
