Last year around march we had bought samsung LED tv for around 34k of which display gone bad after 14 months :( and they are asking 15k for replacing the panel
Instead of replacing the panel we decided to go for new tv

can anyone suggest good model in any brand

1. Budget.

2. Viewing distance.
10 feet

3. Sources/inputs such as HD DTH/consoles/stand-alone media players etc.
Primary -
1. Set-Top Box
2. USB PD/HDD (Movies/Series)
Secondary -
1. Philips DVD Player

4. Preference for plasma TV/LCD TV/LED-LCD TV.
LED TV

5. Preference for brands.
Sammy, LG, Sony (or any brand which gives piece of mind)

6. Willing to purchase it from the grey market?
Yes, but would like to know if the TV I purchase will sustain a year without any service.

7. Ambient lighting conditions of the room.
Ok

8. Any other feature you are looking for such as 3D support on the HDTV, DLNA capabilities etc.
Should support maximum audio/video formats.
I am confused between non-Smart/Smart.... :(

Similar question about the Smart-features, cause I can use my lappy/PC/buy a wifi-enabled media player for "Smart" needs....
