To have a backup internet connection, I am looking for a 3G data card which can be worked directly from power mains. I can insert a SIM and recharge with 3G pack whenever need arises. I thought to use my Moto E 1st gen by tethering it but range is very poor.
One Huawei model I came across is Huawei Power-Fi E8221. It is currently available for 1,499 on Amazon under lightening deal. Can I get anything better and cheaper than this ? This one reportedly does not support USSD codes.
