I am looking for higher refresh rate Gsync to go with my 1080ti. Like 144 Hz.
I am also in the same boat for a 27" QHD monitor. The best option seems to be the LG 27GL850 which is 500 USD odd with 144 Hz 1ms GtG IPS panel but bugger is not yet launched in India although it came to market during Christmas in US.

The only decent option now seems to the BenQ EX2780Q and avoiding Acer panels as they have a bad rep for QC issues.

Which monitor are you targeting?

Exactly same. What a coincidence. LG 27GL850.
I was even looking at 32GKL650(Freesync) or 32GL850(Gsync).
But they seem to have low ppi.

Also there's one more on my list and it's 27GL750 Gsync.

The 32 inchers are VA but the 27 incher is a TN panel. You really want 240 Hz is it?

It might be a moot point for your 1080Ti or my 2080 once the new consoles launch later this year. 240 fps even at 1080p ultra might be tricky with AAA titles.

I am planning to wait till April and if the 27GL850 doesn't launch by then I will go for the BenQ. The Gigabyte FI27Q-P/FI27Q might launch by then but their pricing is a bit too rich for me keeping in mind the AD27QD is still 55k.

That 240 HZ is FHD so last on my list.

I have also been waiting for 27GL850.

Have you seen Acer XB1. They have Gsync and both IPS and TN panels.

You mean this one?
I looked at this one and the Nitro but read too many horror stories regarding the QC of the Innolux panels Acer uses on Reddit.
So Acer's a no go for me.

Which Benq one are looking at then? I haven't read many reviews. Let me check.

BTW do you see much of a difference between FreeSync and G-Sync?

Currently I use a Samsung 24 inch FHD VA Freesync panel and once nVidia enabled FreeSync I have been running at 1080p 144 Hz native over DisplayPort.

As of now freesync could be a hit or miss with old panels. But for the newer ones it works without a hitch. Yet you have to depend on reviews for knowing if there's any tearing or not.
I just wanted to make sure that as I am not buying monitors every other day so I should be getting something that would work flawlessly.

Yeah I checked out Reddit and the BenQ has no issues with nvidia GPUs.

Samsung also unveiled a few monitors at CES 2020 but no ETA as of now. Check out this thread.
