Just checking
4GB/2GB DDR3 SODIMM (Laptop RAM) still in use? Have few pulled from mac mini, MBP etc. and some Hynix (purchased).
Was planning to post details in classifieds section but thought I will check first.
I see 2 or 3 threads (not mine, but same type RAM listed) with almost no replies.
Thats something obsolete/no use these days?

8GB sticks might be in demand with older hardware to max the configuration.
4GB may or may not be unless someone already has a 4GB stick and may want to upgrade.

Regardless you don't have to pay anything to post a FS thread.

I just bought a 4 GB module a few days ago for an old laptop.

So yes it's still valid for some users who are still using old hardware. Not everyone is going to use the latest state of the art hardware. And those laptops are still quite powerful for general everyday usage and media consumption.
