My friend is doing a course at arena multimedia and doubles as a faculty there as well. He's looking to buy a PC for the same purpose and plans to work on maya and 3dsmax extensively. His budget is around 50k atm and he says he needs to have the Nvidia Quadro FX 350 in it atleast. So plz suggest a rig for him accordingly. I guess he can compromise on the monitor as of now [CRT instead of a fancy LCD
] in order to accomodate a better gfx card even, something like the Quadro FX 550. he's thinking abt the AMD X2 3800+ for the processor but i suggested him to go for a C2D. He would be doing renderring as well so i guess the min ram has to be 1 GB but would prefer if its 2GB. Can all this fit in 50k? plz suggest the rig keeping in mind that at my place the stuff costs a bit higher than in mumbai or banglore. Its a bit urgent so some quick replies would be appreciated. tyvm
