Hey guys Im looking for a mobo for the Phenom 555 be
I am very much relying on the fact that it will unlock. some guidelines to choose the proccy.

Also, what board to go for? budget around 5 k.

Trty for Biostar, ASUS, Gigabyte 785G based models they have the highest unlock rates but I doubt that any more Phenom II x2 will unlock to the x4 stage cause chips are not being harvested and binned any more as AMD has a steady supply of Dual Cores too :), if you want to get a more balanced processor in the same price better get the Athlon II x4 *** series much better multi threading, only lack L3 cache
