6270 network problem

hi all,
i have Nokia 6270 purchased in june06 and in totally perfect condition. in last rain i faced some problem as it started to loose network coverage. i gave it to Nokia center and after 5 weeks they returned it back that it is not repairable.:@ :@ :@ :@
if i send it mumbai will there be any help?
how nokia can treat customers like this... 16k and within a year without any big problem now cost is Zero.....
guys please help... what should i do now??
 
try some other network sim in ur cell,one of my friend faced a similar problem due to which he was not able to send sms from his 6270 but his sim was working fine in other mobile phs,he replaced his sim and everything was fine.

so i would say first try some other sim of different network or of similiar network.
 
nope.
my sim works in other mobile and working other sim dosent work in 6270.
it has some IC for network connections and nokia says that it is busted.
and it cant be repaired. now what to do with such peace. is there anything with nokia like recycling or refurbishing etc..
