Graphic Cards 6600GT artifacting in FarCry

xfx pcie 6600gt is artifactng.
farcry is the only prob game and artifacting grows on playing
mw demo: no probs

smps:antec sl450
os:vista beta 1
driver:77 came with os

Have you noticed the same artifacting when using Win XP ?
 
update the farcry with all the updates from the site ...

updates are 1.1 , 1.3 , 1.31 , 1.32 , 1.33

and if u are switching on HDR then make sure than AA is disabled
 
@rahul, who runs HDR and AA together on a 6600gt?

My drivers are 77.52, so why are there probs, or are the probs with all nvidia drivers.

I am also having probs with my system.
Why is FarCry etc running slow, did a frsh install a few days ago.

Ok, let us assume that they have a better comp, but if they score 100, I should get at least 85 even in FarCry, or minimum 80.

So if they get 70fps @ 1280 max, I should get 56, this means my fps should be b/w 50-60 at the minimum
This means that the game should run perfectly fine at those settings, however it doesn't even run fine on 1024
 
@techboy---try whats told by me & rahul , & see that everything will be ok.Dont post useless crap before trying out whats told

I feel ashamed somehow? Man, please THINK. The latest drivers for vista have reached 85.xx probably. Have you even tried them? 77.xx is like 1 1/2 years old now. Man............
 
ve tried 84 for xp, and games like mw and aoe3 run faster o vista than on xp

patch 1.3 stopped the thing

but, how do i switch hdr on
patch 1.3 has reduced my performance considerably
Can I use a cooler(about 2-2.5m away facing comp) in the same room as comp,any prob?
 
Well... That depends... Which brand of cooler is it... How much per cubic feet of air does it throw per sec... How humid is the room due to the cooler... And most importantly... Will the performance of cooler decrease if it will start cooling the computer instead of humans...I can already see a new thread cropping up
