hi members is the 6800gt agp8x compatible with 4x board,right now i have a kob p4 ndfsmx motherboard which is a 4x board so will this card work with it

I guess the card should run fine on a 4x slot, but I think it would not work up to its full potential due to the lower bandwidth.
 
yep it will work but u will be gettin bottlenecked performance both due to ur 4x rate n cpu.but will work for sure.
it has very gud bandwidth arnd 32 gbps. i own a BFG 6800gt oc myself.
i suggest u get a new mbo with agp8x coz if u spent bucks for 68 u need to get the potential of this card isn't it?
 
I believe 4x or 8x won't make as much difference as your CPU at standard resolutions. In my opinion, it will be the major bottleneck.

Some reviews have shown that cards perform better on occasion with 4x than with 8x although it may be attributed to the system state(CPU, mem usage etc.) at a given time.
