Graphic Cards 8800Gt for Physics

Hi guys, i will be purchasing a new graphics cad(gtx XXX) soon, i am currently having 8800GT which i do not want to sell. Can this card be used for Physics alone? Will it be an overkill to use it as a Physics card alone??

will work well in PhysX supported games like Batman AA..

If I have an AMD 5850 can I use the 8800gt as a physx card along with it? The motherboard I intend on using this setup is -890gx.

Nope unless you get modded drivers which allow PhysX on ATI+Nvidia combos.
