Graphic Cards 9600gt and psu?

What are your other hardware specs , considering normal specs , your pc will boot but cant handle gaming . You will face constant restart . Dont risk your hardware with that psu , mention your budget so that we will advise you on a gpu and psu .

peak power consumption of stock 9600 gt is almost equal to 100 watts which is drawn mainly from 12 volt rail........! so if u have a supply which has 18 amps on 12 volt rail( 12x18 = 216 watts) can easily handle the card with a processor from intel c2d e7xxx series and hdd and dvd rom etc....but thats theory......this all depends of what quality is ur psu, if it is one of those local psu which came with cabinet then it cant handle the card....cause these supplies are very unreliable....if it is from a reputed brand like coolermaster or antec or even zebronics then it will most likly do the job....

ya my mistake....!!

but thats makes the diff iff the psu is from good and reliable brand....if it is from like intex or more or iball which came with the cabby.....then having 24 amps on 12 v rail are also insufficient

Videsi companies like corsair rates their psu very conservatively

but Desi companies like intex, iball, zebronics rates their psu more than their capacity to supply

Don't trust any Desi psu's no matter whatever they write .
