Reason for Sale
A friend got them when he had money, but he has bigger issues now, and needs to sell them.
This is probably one of the highest endurance prosumer cards you can buy on the market today.
The 980 Pro is TLC (3 bit 'MLC' as they call it)

If a 980 PRO is somewhat full, the SLC cache on it is 4GB, and that'll get consumed in roughly one second. Subsequently, the TLC write speed is 1GB/s :)
Not so for the 970PRO which will maintain 2700MBPs till it is full.

Am I up-selling the capabilities of a 970 pro? If you're a G@M3R, don't buy it. If you edit 4k raw, you know better.
As for the endurance... chalo, you can google reviews, don't debate here, just PM when you've made up your mind - thanks! :)
>> Anandtech has conceded that the 980 pro doesn't really sell itself to the 'pro' market anymore given the drop.

Price is PER CHIP.
Packaging and all will be as per my standards ;) I had ~ 100+ positive references on Erodov, which is down unfortunately, but if you'd like, some senior members here will vouch for me.
Please ask if you'd like - I will provide references.

P.S. - this is an imported pack, without an invoice, so Indian warranty is a big YMMV situation. I haven't had problems in the past, but don't hold a gun to my head at later date. Accept the risks of not paying full retail price, though I have not had one Samsung SSD fail me in 10 years.

New with bill and warranty is 14k, 10% disc 1400. Makes it effectively 12500....price it realistic and I may be interested

While we are at it, I just wanna say that the new "standard" of entry-level/mid-range SSD's might just become QLC only just like SMR became of mechanical hard disks. Also totally agree with the comment that this can benefit heavy editing pros the most much more than "gamers." Tbh its a waste of gamers (you can just get a cheaper Evo/MX500 or something). Chalo good luck with the sale.
