Finally managed to jump from onboard to 8600GT!

Got an XFX 8600GT 256MB DDR3 card for 5.6k from Hyderabad.

Crysis plays smooth at ~28fps on 10*7 all medium and UT2007 at 1440*900 and default quality settings.



 
your cooler surely looks different......what are the temps you are getting.......the fan is bigger ..........but there is no enclosure ........which i feel is important

Thats the only one available then...

Anyhow here are the temps...

Idle: 53*C-55*C (Day-Night temp differ na)
Full load (after half an hour of crysis): 65*C

Also, should i use 3dmark'06 or '05 to benchmark?

BTW the max temps are not 65 but 70*C...is it fine?

hmm nice buyer btw have you oc 700 or 750 core with new cooler ;)

what is you 3dmark 06 oc score

i have far done 800 core no fuss for me :D

that hwy i got facility edition slient piper cooler for 1.4k ;)

is any bottlnest or you plans you udapte new c2d cpu with DDR2 RAM

btw i got more 30 fps at 540 core stock no oc

but cpu oc :eek:hyeah:

Not there when most were on A64.
But i think i saw one on newegg sometime back during some stock clearance. :S
