A doubt about N95 GPS

hi guys i was very curious to know abt the GPS on N95.... are we charged by service provider for using or is it free ??? or something else which u guys would like to share
 
lol... no you are wrong there cyrux... The GPS on N95 is not yet fully functional... THe Indian maps are outdated and you are charged for usage....
 
you are wrong icefusion,you are not per say directly charged for it , using GPS is free , downloading the maps is what will cost u if u dld em via gprs , my bro dlded em from wifi at home , so the whole scene was free , however i do agree the maps are a bit outdated
 
umm that is what i meant... if you download maps then you are charged...in N95 you have an option whether you want to connect tothe internet using GPRS/Wi-Fi or not.. if u use that they you get charged,...

Satguide maps are supposed to be good

..and cant we just download maps over the internet and use them in the phone ?

@icefusion , i was talking about the basic GPS functionality which is not charged for to give you the coordinates.
