In that spot you have the following options --

Corsair Vengeance M60 ~2800/- -->3200/- http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=893&Itemid=65 / http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Corsair-Vengeance-M60-Mouse-Review/1526.

PRO's
  • Brilliant build quality.
  • Crazy fast LASER sensor ~5700dpi.
  • Rudimentary weight system integration.
  • Decent driver software.

CON's
  • Crazy fast LASER sensor.
  • Non-ambidextrous-design

LOGITECH G400 ~1600/- http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2011/09/28/logitech-g400-review/1 / http://gizmodo.com/5837268/logitech-g400-lightning-review-im-going-to-murder-your-face-so-hard-with-this-thing

PRO's
  • fast optical sensor ~3600dpi.
  • a direct successor to the wildly successful MX518 and carries all the ergonomic utility of the legendary design with improved build quality.
  • LOGITECH makes the best drivers. PERIOD. (in my opinion)
  • Enough buttons to take advantage of the driver.

CON's --
  • iffy scroll wheel.
  • Plastic feels a little flimsy to touch.
  • Non-ambidextrous design.

LOGITECH G500 ~3200/- -->3700/- http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/963/pg1/logitech-g500-gaming-mouse-review-introduction.html / http://gizmodo.com/5376908/logitech-g500-gaming-mouse-review-itll-get-you-killed

PRO's
  • Another extension of the MX line of mice, with a fast LASER sensor ~5400dpi + weight system.
  • LOGITECH drivers. (again my opinion)
  • Plenty of buttons to configure.

CON's
  • Issues with the scroll-wheel and side buttons, some complain that they are too tightly packed to actuate properly and missteps on them are common = botched headshot, destroyed office .pdf.
  • Non-ambidextrous layout.
Hope this helps, Cheerio!

It is both for me, you have some brag rights but I do not see myself using that high dpi settings ever. It will make every twitch a complete reorientation of the screen. So it is a boon and a curse.

^^Thanks for that.. I like the looks of M60 from the day it was released, now i like the features too..

Yep it is a very strong contender in that price bracket from Corsair at that price especially.

Looks and feels absolutely wicked (all Aluminium chassis).
