Sup mates, a little confused soul here.

I dont want to cross 30k. Just a combo I made using the TE buying guide March 2010 post by Darkangel.

I stay in Bombay. Lamington Road would be the best place.

HD Movies,Music, anime interest me.
Current Setup
Laptop- Dell Inspiron 6400, 2Gb RAM.
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit {pirated of course} :eek:hyeah:
Thanks for the help.

My questions are:

Q1} Obviously you guys would ask me to go for Choice 2. If I do go for it then costs shoots.
Will the first option allow me to play games like Crysis Warhead, blah bah

Q2} How does one decide what processor goes with which motherboard?

Q3} How can I keep the budget low? Any other cheaper options in other brands without compromising on quality?

Q4} Which dealers would you pro's recommend on lamington?

Q5} Should I take prices for individual components from each dealer you recommend, compare and decide or should I buy it from one person?
Choice 1:- If i combine this with the rest of Choice 1,
the cost sticks to 28k max and without GPU comes to 20K

Processor: AMD Athlon X3 435 {2.9Ghz, 3 cores}
Motherboard: Biostar TA785G3
Choice 2:-

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 945BE(3.2Ghz, 4 cores, 6MB L3 Cache)
Motherboard: Biostar TA790GX A3+

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

RAM: 4Gb {2x2} 1333 MHz Kingston DDR3

GPU:

Choice 1:- Sapphire HD5750 1GB DDR5
Choice 2:- Sapphire HD5770 1GB GDDR5
Monitor:

Choice 1:- BenQ G2020HD
Choice 2:- BenQ G2220HD -Its full HD
Cabinet: Cooler Master Elite 310

CD/DvD Writer: L.G. GH22NS30
Samsung SH-S22F SATA DVD-Writer

Hardrive: Either Western Digital or Seagate..
200Gb
320Gb
500Gb

I really have no need for a higher internal HDD. 200gb would suffice. I got 1.5tb external {500gb Seagate and 1 TB WD}

PSU/SMPS:

Choice 1:- Gigabyte Superb 460w
Choice 2:- Corsair VX450[/PHP]
thanks for your help.

For shops at Lammy you can consider Prime, TheITWares(dealer at TE).
Even this exceeds your budget. You can skimp on your GPU and monitor and go for 20" one which would be 1.5k cheaper and HD4770 512MB GDDR5 ~ 6.2k. This would bring down the costs to 30-31k~
