Hi all,
Perhaps we could have a link on the top just next to New posts saying My posts so that one can follow the threads one has posted in rather than going through the mail notification. The other search method with username is also available but this would be a little better automated. Kinda a shortcut/grep. What do u guys think?

Click your username, there is a option saying "Find All Posts By X" is that what you want ?

Yup i guess thats what. Actually that would be a useful feature. It would save time from goin to search and actually searching. Im also for this. What do u guys think?

dipdude, thanx for pointing that out didn't know that one but that doesn't solve my issue. While it tells me where I've posted it doesn't tell where somebody has replied/added to my issue/question/comment whatever. For e.g. I submit a post in one of the threads, of course one can subscribe to the thread but that again requires user intervention. A profoundly better one would be to have something like http://forums.mozillazine.org/search.php?search_id=egosearch which automatically tells one if somebody has replied to a thread. I could go on giving many examples as have seen the same tool being applied in many a forum.

In dipdude's way one does find one's posts but doesn't have who has replied last to it. It just gives that you had posted in the thread. Just to add strength to what I'm saying here's a snapshot to what I'm saying

As one can see I've also underlined where I'm the last one to say something whereas in the other threads other people already have posted something, the ones on the top are the one ones where I posted most recently & then goes down as per the frequency/posting on the thread goes down. How does that look

Doesnt clicking on 'User CP' show all the updated posts in which a user has posted?!? (i.e. subscribed posts and we have auto subscribe when we post)
Isnt that wat you are looking for shirish...

It's almost what I want, but subscribe or autosubscribe also sends e-mail to my mail id which I don't want. So let's say the same feature - sending mail to the mail client. So in that way it's different.

Thanx dude,
Finally did it. But did find it kinda hidden. I think only the long-timers would be using this feature rather than noobs like us. See if this feature can be made more open (in your face kinda thing) perhaps.

Didn't last for long. When to User CP> Settings & Options > Edit Options > Default Thread Subscription Mode > checked no email notification. Now it says no subscribed threads for the time period. Don't know what is wrong there.
