A pop-up msg should be helpful; Or a pop-up msg intimating that "Your inbox's full; someone's sent you a PM; clear your inbox to recieve the same!!!" or something like this;

Its a pain when we're having some important deals or trades going on and that the recipient is not aware of this;

We may have to contact them urgently for some requirement;

Sometimes even IMs doesn't seem to do the job [most of the time they're offline or that they're invisible and do not respond];

+1 for that suggestion.. But we already have a provision for backing up PMs if you really want them..So clearing them on a regular basis shouldnt be a big problem.. Unless of course, you get more than 200 PMs a day..

yup.. we need that provision.. other day i had composed a huge pm.. nearly took me 10 mins only to know that recipients inbox was full..

honestly people who get regular PMs should just take weekly backups. You do get Bold message on TE index under your username when your PM box is nearing its capacity. Anything else will require more hacks.
