*will 4200+ be a bottleneck in terms of speed?

and what would be its intel alternative

* Doe Memory clock speed make a huge difference, getting 800MHz over 667MHz, and any alternative brand if transcend is not available at my place?

* With cool master case be available in Jaipur, i doubt that. what if i go for a any Good looking Solid case with a Branded PSU. will that work?

* Regarding screen, is LG good over Dell, Dell has 3 or 5year warranty and LG comes with just 1 year and whats this Ultra Sharp thingy?

Budget is around 30k, can take it 1k more

and

Disclosure:The system won't be over clocked at all:p

Thanks a Lot for your suggestions, you rock else wonder how would i purchase PCs

no i dont think it would be a bottleneck but you could also go for the x26000+ or you could get an intel C2D E7200 but it would be much more expensive .

You would also need to purchase a graphics card as the integrated graphics in intelmotherboards is not that good.the motherboard he suggested supports hybrid crossfire and has integrated 3200 graphics which is pretty good considering your gonna buy a 19 inch LCD .so the proccy mobo combi sidhu suggested offers much more value .

yes ddr2 800 is better -more mhz=more faster?
and you could always revert back to 667 in the bios and run it with tighter timings

the specs of the Lg monitor are very impressive and i dont think you can get a 22 inch monitor with those specs and that price with any other brand .but if you wanna go with a 3 year warranty you could go for the dell (its your call).

regarding the RAM and cooler master case i would suggest you try contacting katmandude he has pretty slick deals and i have bought a lot of stuff from him .for the ram try to get corsair xms2 800mhz (2x 2 Gb) from newegg and i think he already has trade goin on with cooler master cases .

okay things are taking shape finally.

based on suggestion from many people here and a local dealer , i have made a rough draft of a INTEL based PC.

not comfortable with AMD, so will be buying from Intel's stable.

Core 2 Duo E 8200

Intel DP35DP

Transcend 2X1GB 800MHz

NVIDIA 8600GT

Seagate 250GB Single Platter ST3250310AS

Samsung 203B/D 20x SATA 20x DVD ReWriter

Dell 19" SE198WFP OR LG

need suggestion on CPU/Mobo & graphics card.

rest parts are almost final:)

Why so much power for MM PC usage, E2140 will beat even Pentium D 940 (3GHz NETBURST ARCHITECTURE). 90% times UR PC will sit idle. Get E7200 max, save 2k, do favour to UR senses and buy better speakers. and mentioned Intel P35 mobo is having issues, Eazy Sir posted, unable to run even E7200. Get Abit IP35-E.

Core 2 Duo E 8200

Intel DP35DP

Core 2 Duo E7200

ABit IP35-E

Transcend 2X1GB 800MHz

NVIDIA 8600GT

Seagate 250GB Single Platter ST3250310AS

Samsung 203B/D 20x SATA 20x DVD ReWriter

Dell 19" SE198WFP OR LG

okay changed the proc and mobo, what about GPU seems fine?

and what is alternative if abit is not available at my place?

Yes 8600GT is fine, dont overspend for particular brand, all r nVidia referance designs, no performance differance.

Biostar TP35D2-A7

MSI P35Neo

Are the performance of all three mobos same?

and should i go for board with P45 chipsets?

is there any order of preference i should look like which ones i should ask first.

Will be going to Market tomm morning, then i would a fair idea of availability of products.

P45 mobos r 65nm, lesser heat and power consumption. But ask URself, U wont even OC, even if U in future, it will hardly matter for moderate OC.

and in this budget, no worthy P45 mobo.

Everything will get obsolete 1 day, even P45 once Bloomfields hit store.

Can i use my existing Speakers, they are huge ones they which came with my audio player. and also they sound good.

this i would save cost & space

Made a Trip to Computer Market.

Lots of surprises & disappointments

-->
Dealers have no clue about the products they sell, example he made me a sample configuration; for them is CPU is C2D, no model number, no FSB or Cache details available. same for Mobo, they sell Mobotherboard Telling "Intel Original". WTH! is Intel Original.

i pushed him hard,so he called Intel's Distributer so i got to know CPU was E4600 & mobo was DG31PR or D945GCPE.even the disto was not sure, Damn you

E7200,E8200 & E8400 are not available, after 4600 they have Quads. need to check in few more shops.

-->
He is pushing me hard to buy Zion/Hynix Ram, can says Kingston is cr@p. when i asked about transcend is said Hynix is the best ram in the world lol

-->On Asking about AMD procy, surprisingly he had the whole Range right from 4200 to X3 & X4 ready stock;) . but he was bundling with with some Asus Mobo costing 2200/- bucks, no details on that were available:no:

--> When i asked About 7200 and if he can arrange it, he said its out of stock and does not know when it would be available

--> Graphics is of Sparkle 8600GT for 4.5k

what is the performance of this X3 & X4 comparing to Intel 7200?
