NOW 75% of this Amount / per call – MUST BE Credited to TechEnclave

This may seem to be a Wild & Whacky Proposal …. But, Wait…. Think!.... WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF A VIDEO CALL TODAY ….. It establishes a Bonding Between the Seller & the Buyer & the Joy & Happiness of seeing your Deal going through smoothly or Not.

THIS WILL ALSO ELIMINATE ALL the Pestilent Creeps who Drive Genuine Sellers Berserk!

TE has already proven to be India’s BEST Platform – esp for SELLING of All Sorts of Products to thousands of normal sellers.

I hope that the Mod on TE & Veterans + Newbies out here carry forth this discussion.

Wait, seller pays potential buyer for the call? Or potential buyer pays seller?

If it's the first, how will this "eliminate all creeps" as you say? If it's the second, as a buyer a video call does practically nothing to show me the functioning condition of say, a video card, and as a seller if I've taken photos and ss etc I don't have the time to waste with a call.

Secondly how do you even ensure the 75 percent goes to te? How does it go to te? And why? If you want to monetarily support the forum there's the patron option, instead of relying on people to "do the right thing".

No offence but I think this is a fairly poorly thought out plan in both idea and execution, and I for one would not like to see any form of it.

Neither your photo nor the description of yourself in words would make me feel that there would be a possibility of creeps harassing you. Beware of acid attacks.

Your choice of words doesn't seem to fit what one could possibly say to you in DMs on TE to an old(er) man. Can you give examples of messages that you received which makes you give them a moniker of "pestilent creeps"?

A terrible idea in my opinion. The seller should always provide the buyer that "Practical Demo" should he/she ask for it. You can't charge some random stranger to initiate a video call.

TGST - TechEnclave GST for video calls! If every sell thread had the seller paying 75 INR, the admins might actually need to pay CGST, IGST to the Govt.

Idk. If I were the seller, I'd definitely not want the buyer to bombard me with video calls.

As for bonding, joy and happiness, I'd much prefer doing that with my lady. And yes, video calls are important to see her pretty face.

I think most of us don't have time for such calls and these calls will not solve anything, If someone wants to cheat he/she will cheat.

Spot on, Who wants to waste time with a stranger when you are not sure if the deal will be through, Also not to forget its difficult to adjust to different accents and the way people speak.

True story which happened to me back in 2020,had a video call and everything verified,yes complete with bank details and Aadhar,still got conned,though it was outside this forum,still makes no difference,like someone said.if someone wants to cheat,he/she will do so any which way.

I've paid for video calls before... the purpose was something else though.
