Which would be a better investment? And which would perform better, non oc-ed?

IC2D E4400 (139$) / XFX 680i LT SLI (150$) for a total of 289$ or AMD A64 X2 6000+ (170$) / Asus M2N-4 SLI (95$) for a total of 265$ ?

AMD is good if u don't plan to overclock too much . else go for Intel.

It's actually 180$, but after rebate, it's 149$.

if u r not gonna oc amd combo looks better
(clock for clock c2d has about 20% edge over k8 proccy
so e4300 @ 1.8 GHZ ~ x2 @ 2.1-2.2 GHZ )
