DONT BUY THE HP PD or Any slim micro size pd if u want reliability ....hp ones are manufactured by PNY ..PNY comes with 5yr warranty and hp=2....pny also performs better........of all the PDs i have used all of them have failed multiple times...corsair has failed only once(whle experimenting some serious things)..........although havent seen the Transcend ones failing
 
Which are the good stores @Lamington for Pen Drives/ DVDs etc ?

I intend to buy a pack of National Dual Layers as well..!!
 
Reviving an old thread because I have similar requirements as OP.

I see repeated mention of HP, Corsair and Sandisk in this thread. Are Kingston and Transcend completely out then? I am looking to buy a couple of 8GB drives, and reliability followed by speed are my preferences. Should I opt for the DOW on Sandisk, or should I look at other options from different brands?
 
i having using verbatim 4-5 pendrives for the past almost 2 years , not even a single one failed on me , good reliability, good read /write sppeds , very good overall , get it online from ebay dvdstoredelhi or mediahome , kingston , transcend , sandisk all i have used , all r good , never used a corsair so far after learning that its write speed is pathetic :P
