PC Peripherals A8N-E mouse problem

hi guy's,
I recently upgraded my pc to a amd 64bit 3000+ processor and ausus A8N-E motherboard. I recently flashed the bios of the motherboard and it went on fine but went i shutdown my system the optical mouse is never turned off and so is the led's on the keyboard. I even tried flashing the bois again with an older version and still the problem presists.I got a logitech optical mouse ps/2.So if anyone has encountered a similar problem and know how to fix it help me out here guys.it is very annoying to see the light on everytime.

Well this problem happened to both my boards,Asus A8N-E and A8N SLI Deluxe.
I never really bothered about it as it never hindered normal operation,so why care about it ?
But still if you persist,it might earthing problem,may be ? my Room had it,i got it fixed but never observed whether this mouse staying on problem was solved,i dont experience this problem since i got DFI NF4
 
its the "enable KB_pwrup" option with this u can turn on the system by pressing the power button on the k/b.Nothing to worry about.just disable the corresponding jumper referring the manual.
