Aakash Tablet available for COD :)

I tried to buy, after filling up contacts details, all I could see is:

I got emails from them with the booking id.

This is the email from them :-

The "Akash Ubislate 7" doesn't look bad at all. At that price i'm very sure many countries will want to import it too!
 
The price of Ubislate 7 seems impossible to achieve at the given specifications. Unless I see a review or a hands-on of this new tablet first, putting down Rs 3000 is risky...

For Rs 500 more you get a 700 MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, Android 2.3, 3200 mAh battery, and GPRS connectivity,Whats more you want for 3k.
 
Read somewhere that Aakash 2 will be coming next year with 1GB RAM at the same price point. I will better wait for that !

Amazing news, I already booked and received the booking ID and seems the upgraded version is better now. Wish they deliver it soon.

guys take the upgraded version,its defo better for just 500 rs more.
 
so people who have booked i guess 3 weeks back get new version or old or what ? i want the new one of course. confused how this works.
