Monitors Abnormal lcd issue

My cousin recently got a new 17' viewsonic lcd.
Now the problem is whenever he tries to play GTA San andreas, the lcd screen shows out of frequency error but the game can b heard running in background.
His resolution:- 1024*768 @ 75hz.

pc- 3ghz, 1.5gb ram, 80gb hdd, 8600gt.

Other games as far what he played, sim city 3000, nfs mw, hitman, doom are fine.

i googled for gta bt didnt find solution.
 
Your screen resolution is 1024*768, so check if game resolution like 1280 x 1024 that why this problem.

Firstly set your screen resolution 1280 x 1024 (Its s Optimal resolution for 17" LCD)
 
anything to do with vsync usually seen in games..disable it. is other games ok. anyway do what lucky chauhan said first
 
Use the driver control panel to enable (force) vsync - it has to be 60hz for the LCD. As mentioned, if you're running at 75hz, its not going to display anything. After enabling vsync in driver, you can run the game, and change the option in-game as well.
