Guys. Is this section really needed?
All its doing is taking lots of possible readers away from the story.
Thats not the active section. I think there was a question asked regarding this by someone a while ago too.
All that section is doing is dispersing news.
A graphic related news will have better interaction in GFX card section, same with CPU and mobo and other general hardwares.
ITs really not helping neither it has achieved anything. To have that section just for the sake of having a Latest stuff related section on forums is not the best idea IMHO. There are some great juicy news in that section which will have flood of replies in proper section.

We are taking a serious re-look at the future of news section.

There are certain updates which are yet to happen, until then just wait & watch.
 
yea i agree as well, the news should be posted in the respective sections. Thats a much better way of going about it.
 
Yeah Funky is right. Mods can then select top stories from each section and make them show as Latest Technology news on the main page.
 
Having a seperate news section is warranted when you have active discussion going on the news, till then posting in the respective forum makes sense.
 
I too had pmed about this to dip.

The respective H/W related news shud be in the respective H/W Section.

I dont feel so that many ppl check the news section.

I feel that the news realted to ne H/W shud be posted in H/W section.

We've disabled the "Latest Technology News" section till further notice. All members are requested to post any latest news in appropriate forum sections from now on.
