was just to curious to know, as we pride in being india's ace tech portal, have we registered the techenclave.in domain ?

if not, what are your thoughts on it :no:

Well yes we do want one more domain just to ensure stability and redundancy especially when we are moving servers or running backups.

However we cant have the .in domain as it is already registered to someone else.

man thats bad did you find out who is current owner, maybe we can persuade that person to part with it :cool2: unless hes a squatter waiting to get monetary benefits :no:

TechEnclave is a global site.
But, as you see, the query and the maximum members we have are from India, it would be quite benifitial for us to have a .in domain apart from the .com domain.
Unfortunately, the .in and other similar domains are all not available.

by having a .com domain you dont become any more global, also as renegade said the .in domain could have been a backup domain giving more stablity :cool2:

the content of TE is more important for people who come here, we can have all the .com's we want but without our unbiased TE community, no one would bother coming here.

Well we can get free .be domain, for one year (unless somebody already registered it too hyeah: ) if we register before Jan 2006.

hate those squatters, just sit on a domain, to sell it for profit to those who should be actually owning it in first place, what a sleazy but legal way to make money.
