Graphic Cards About Zebronics cards...

My dealer has offered me Zebronics GeForce 7600GS for Rs.7300/-. Is it OK? I was actually looking for XFX which cost around 8.5k-10k...he says xfx,zebronics r all importers and it does not make a difference....shud i go for XFX or is Zebronics ok...
my budget is 10K...
 
zebronics sells two brands, one is leadtek which you can go for without a problem. The others are OEM cards imported from outside and rebranded as zebronics. you should be careful about those.
 
I recently bought a Leadtek 7600GS Extreme Edition (pre-overclocked) card for 7500. Very good performance. The price diff between the normal and the extreme edition is just around 200-300 bucks.

The Extreme Edition is overclocked to 520/900 (clock/memory) and comes with an active cooler.
 
The Zebronics brand of cards suck !!! Period. My friend had a horrible time with a 6600LE card. Apart from that another friend of mine had a problem last year - Dunno what card.

Asus is miles apart both brand and cost wise to xfx, don't even put them in the same price bracket...:P

There seem to be a lot of experts on zebby here, well I know a little :P but not as much as u guys for sure :bleh:

The cards are palit, which is one of NVIDIA's tier 2 vendors last I knew. The vendor may have changed, but the cards are decent at best, and not really horrible, just say 1 in 12 higher end cards will cause problems. 6600LE and above are high end products for smaller tier 2 brands btw.

So I suggest you give zebby a miss, ditto big, which is a POS, believe me I should know more about the brands available and their qualities, cause well, been there..done that ;)

Look for Leadtek which is good, xfx decent. asus, msi and gigabyte will be better but costlier.
 
Will you get this in Mumbai ? Sparkle was once (not sure whether still is) one of the better brands that you couldve got

Sparkle's are decent, they're available a lot in Australia. My cousin had an FX5600 card when I last visited him.

dunno about sparkle here, but zebby bros and co :P had tried unsuccessfully to market sparkle here some years back.

Stick with what's available. Oh there's a forsa card that I came across, that was decent
